Hillary Clinton accepted a $13,000 contribution to her campaign war chests from the husband of supermodel Christie Brinkley, whose marriage collapsed amid revelations that hed cheated on Christie with a teenager.
Architect Peter Cook, who wed Brinkley in 1996, had a nearly yearlong affair with wannabe singer and former employee Diana Bianchi, now 19, and gave her gifts of money, jewelry and a car. Both Cook and Bianchi have confirmed the affair.
Asked if she would return Cooks donations, Clinton said: "Ill have to look into it, the New York Post reported. But aide Ann Lewis later said: "We do not intend to return his contributions.
She kept the Philanderer in Chief too.
Really, if every politician returned campaign money from someone who was an unfaithful spouse or said something a little untoward, the $$ would dry up pretty quickly.
This is sort of a stupid story, imo.
Yeah, but bashing the Hildabeast is ALWAYS fun!
"This is sort of a stupid story, imo."
I second your opinion.
Oh, come on--Hillary is a victim in this too, ya know, she SHOULD keep the SOB's money. When he cheated on one of the sisterhood, he cheated on all, so she deserves compensation. I'm surprised she isn't giving interviews playing the martyr.
It was probably Brinkley's money....
Or Billy Joel's.
She owes her entire career to protecting and enabling a drooling loathesome Lothario who screws any female he can - why would she suddenly bother to have scruples about associating with or receiving benefits from such characters? She probably now ADORES Peter Cook for putting her (Hillary's) marriage in a better light -- well if a guy can cheat on supermodel Christie Brinkley, then how am I (Hillarity) supposed to hold down this charging hunk of lust named Bill Clinton???
Good point.
This headline is just about NewMax's speed--not worth the pixels it takes to post it on line.
She never, EVER returns donations, no matter who is the donor.
I'm not here to defend Bill Clinton but jeeze Enchante, you have seen Hillary Clinton and you have heard Hillary Clinton. I'd say I could not fault Bill Clinton for screwing anyone BUT Hillary. Yuk! She's the bitch-woman-from-hell type many men have run across in life. Hillary Clinton will never be elected because 35+ year old guys will never vote for her (excluding the 2% that are queer men).
What I think is pathetic about the Clinton's is what should be the "kryptonite" that kills her campaign. And that's the 300 pound gorilla that the MSM will not look at but at some point if she runs for president they have to look at. And that's the Clinton sham marriage. Imagine what happens when someone posts pics of Billy Boy sucking face with some babe. It's bound to happen. It's the thing that has the Dems. very concerned about Hillary. They know that Bill has bound to have been up to no good and will not be up to any good.
Speaking of Bill, does anyone in their right mind think he will be #2 to Hillary in the White House? No way, even if Hillary put a titty bar in the White House basement Bill would be crazy to want to do the White house thing again. The White House is simply not big enough for both of them. And Bill likes the booty and he won't be getting any if Hillary is president.
Hillary will never be president because at some point she has to answer questions about many things and that includes their marriage.
It's true - marriage to Hillary would make any male either desperately suicidal or else hungry for greener pastures. Not excusing Wild Bill, but marriage to Hillary would indeed seem to be a kind of slow living death sentence.......
Go Hillary!
Go straight to...you know where
WTF does this have to do with anything? Playing up the infidelity of supporters is a double-edged sword, Do we really want Republicans judged by the fact that they're supported by Newt Gingrich or Rush Limbaugh?
This is a distraction. There are actual issues to talk about, and reaching this far to score cheap points just fuels voter apathy by feeding the perception that they're all crooks no different from each other.
If the Republicans run with this, the Democrats will respond in kind, and we'll have a tit-for-tat war of digging up dirt on contributors as we slide farther and farther from the question that actually matters: What would the candidate do in office?
Eye on the ball, folks. We're deciding who will govern the most powerful nation on Earth, not chatting about a soap opera on the back porch.
Well, she's kept all the contributions from women her husband has boinked.
"This is sort of a stupid story, imo."
Agreed. It was front page news on the New York Post the other day. I hate Hillary too, but this is really a bit silly. And, lol, the other posters are right, it would be pretty hypocritical of her to give back the money just for him running around on his wife.
