Unlike some other countries we have stricter proliferation laws. These chemicals were sold with all documents in order according to international agreements signed. It seems more probable that the pro-China, pro-Pakistan idiots in the government made a last ditch attempt to stop India from getting nukes. So much for such losers. Nothing such idiots do can stop India and the US allying with each other against the proliferating idiots in India's neighbourhood.

Dude, Article is about a private company supplying raw materials to Iran. (Not missile technology!). Don't forget private companies from U.S engaged in that kind of transaction's before. This can't be called as a proliferation by Indian government anyway. And India is a democracy, not a dictatorship so it is difficult to order private companies to stop trading with Iran without a solid reason.

Proliferation means governmental or semi-governmental collusion in spreading WMD to other states. Any "dual-use items related to missiles." is dual-use. Is it wrong, yes, but were they deliberately trying to sell WMD to Iran, no. Not like the CCP selling nukes to Pakistan to keep INdia occupied.
