In my opinion it is about as desirous a look as forty nine earrings, noserings, eyebrow ornaments, tattoos etc. in other words a total turnoff.

It's true that overweight bloated humans are a turn off for the most part today - but there have been artistic genres/schools that praised the "voluptuous fleshiness" in past times and even more recently.
