My objection is that if you look at the policies across the board, it's hard to pick up a newspaper today or talk to leaders around the world as a senator and not run headlong into the isolation of the US and run into the divisons that we have with our allies.

I think the assurance most people suggested we'd have far more success than through these standoff non-existent 6 party talks that produced nothing. Why is the administration refusing to talk with Syria. This non-talk approach doesn't go far.
Bolton: 6 party talks weren't going on for 6 years. Principle reason we haven't had 6 party talks is because the ywon't come to the talks but we've told them they could have and have had bilateral talks within the context of the 6 party talks.
