WASHINGTON -- New York lawmakers led a boycott Wednesday of the Iraqi prime minister's speech to Congress, furious that he still has not condemned Hezbollah's actions against Israel.
Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton did attend the speech, but her hopes to hear him take such a stand were dashed.

Major Owens should be censured. Medea should not be allowed into any event like this.

His speech was inspirational and mirrored the words of our founding fathers. All this outrage from the left is because he spoke the truth and they can't deal with it

The news media has yet to condemn Hezbollah. The media is crying that big bad Israel is bombing civilians in Lebanon and shoving victims in front of cameras with all kinds of sob stories. Funny how they're not interviewing family members of Israelis killed in random rocket attacks directed at civilian populations.

Funny, but speeches from Democrats roil me all the time. What's the big news?
I'm waiting for the majority of the democrat party to condemn the baath party in Iraq or the suicide bombers from Gaza and the West Bank - or condemn Hugo Chavez or Fidel Castro - or - or - or. I could go on for days with the things I'm waiting for the DNC to condemn.

I could go on for days with the things I'm waiting for the DNC to condemn. You have to be a Republican or Christian or conservative for the DNC to notice and condemn you. Everyone else is their ideological ideal.

The Iraqi prime minister has a lot of Shia in his country and they are not an easy group to keep calm.

Ironic that Major Owens, (D-CodePink), invited Medea Benjamin, an antisemite, to disrupt the speech of another antisemite. I have no shock that an Arab leader, who risks his life daily, will not come out and join the World Zionist Congress. Somehow, all of this is new to Democrats.

Owens would be far better off being carefully made into sashimi, given his idiotic fascination with 'slaves' having been eaten by 'sharks', and said 'sharks' still patrolling the Atlantic Ocean today, just in case there's yet another 'slave' trader dumping 'slaves' overboard.
Is it ''real'', or is it paresis? (ripoff from old Memorex commercial, for those not aware of same)

New York lawmakers led a boycott Wednesday of the Iraqi prime minister's speech to Congress, furious that he still has not condemned Hezbollah's actions against Israel. Former Democrat Congresswoman Mary Rose Oakar was on O'Reilly the other night. He asked her point blank if Hezbollah is a terrorist organization. She tried to dodge the question. He pressed her and at one point she said well, Hezbollah is on the government's terrorist list. He demanded to know if she considered Hezbollah a terrorist group. She would not say yes.
Do you suppose this New York bunch is furious about her?

Laura Ingraham was on yesterday criticizing Shumer and the other Democrats for their criticism of the Iraqi PMs remarks about blaming Israel and not the Hezbollah. Unfortunately, the Democrats are absolutely right. The Iraqi PM was probably reflecting how the majority in his country feels but still it don't make it right. The PMs refusal to acknowledge that Hezbollah is the cause of this recent conflict is anti-Israel and anti-semetic.
