> Only gay when it's cool, of course....

Nah, if he was playing straight, he'd be looking down her blouse -- he's got the perfect vantage point for some hooter hawkin'. Yet instead he's checking out the guy over on the right...

Daaay-yum, that's one cute piece of arm candy, tho'... ya know who she is?

AND WHAT IS THIS?!?!? I think it's some sort of... naa-a-ahh I can't say it:

> I wear a pink shirt on rare occasions...

Yep, I've got one too, tailored-cut fancy dress shirt, about 20 years old but still in good shape. It gets out maybe once or twice a year.

I've got a younger male friend who is quite the ladies-man and very handsome, who offered the opinion that if -he- were to wear it, people would question his hetero credentials; whereas when -I- wear it (I being 54 and not nearly so handsome), nobody thinks twice. I took that as a positive statement on my masculinity...

OTOH, I am careful not to wear it if I'm going out to a bar to get a beer -- in a straight bar I'd get taunted, and in a gay bar I'd get hit on; neither of which are why I would go out to get a drink in a bar.

Oh, and if you're wondering why I'd consider getting a beer in a gay bar, it happens that the best pool table within 10 miles of here is in the local gay bar. Oh well, I'm just careful to not bend too far over the rail setting up a long shot... and I pee before I leave home.

George Michael has bigger problems than claiming it's his "culture" to wander in the woods looking for anonymous encounters, imho.

That would be Emmanuelie Chriqui, (click for IMDB profile) his co-star/love-interest in the film the black-and-white picture is from called "On the Line." The romantic comedy was a box office bomb but really nothing made money that came out right after 9/11.

It wasn't great cinema but I saw it. I was doing my part to help the economy in those days.

They were targetting a few RINO politicians specifically.

RINO's aren't the best but does the dems have to stoop to this level. I think the first one on the chopping block will be South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham (I know he is not up for reelection), but I am sure that they will stoop to the lowest possible level possible. You know if he is gay and not practicing than he should be left alone. What happened to don't ask don't tell. The dems are disgusting.

>>>You know if he is gay and not practicing than he should be left alone.

It is the person's own doing. If they took donations and endorsement to get their elected position, they signed a contract stating they have to be 'openingly gay' and agree to support the Lesbian and Gay causes. The endorsement even comes with an advisor.

This 'coming out' is part of some whacky 'Big Plan' they are launching for November elections.

I've seen 'gay' spelled 'ghey'.
Maybe we should use that to discern between 'happy' and 'homo'.

The term "gay" is the preferred adjective that has largely replaced "homosexual" in referring to men who are sexually and affectionally attracted to other men. "Homosexual" should be used only if "heterosexual" would be used in parallel constructions, such as in medical contexts.

Whether in headlines, teases, or body copy, try to avoid using forms of the word "admit," which is typically used in the context of something shameful or illegal. Some examples of less potentially charged words are "announce," "disclose" and "say."

Also, be aware that the Associated Press Stylebook recommends avoiding the term "lifestyle" when referring to someone's sexual orientation. In this context, "lifestyle" suggests that gays and lesbians -- not to mention bisexuals and transgender people -- think and act the same way. In fact, there is no "gay lifestyle" or "alternative lifestyle" just as there is no "straight lifestyle."

So..... They get to tell us how to talk, how to write and what to think. All in the name of "tolerance" and "diversity" and "the rich tapestry of our culture."

I can agree with that. But if they have no proof and they are just causing trouble than that is what I don't like.

Hayek warned long ago that all they needed to do was change the language..... It's being done in other ways as well. Unfortunately.

The left always has proof when they put their money on the table. Otherwise they wouldn't invest. When people apply for the financial endorsement of the Victory Funds or Log Cabin groups, they go through an entire screening process. They have an entire review board all the endorsement applications go through.

So if I said I live a Christian lifestyle, I'd be implying I'm a homo? First they hijacked the word "gay" and now this?

Come out, come out, where ever you are!

But sodomites really do need to admit, nay, even confess, that they are living a depraved lifestyle. And then stop that stuff.

Or hush about it.
