Most homosexuals are too busy being homosexuals to contribute much in the way of professional accomplishments.

Love ya!

Being an attorney is a screwy occupation. And perverted, as well.

I'll bet that the ACLU has the highest percentage of homosexual and lesbian lawyers

Considering that homosexuals are probably more likely to separate or divorce, if gay marriage/unions should become a reality - it may be a prudent tactic to have a gay lawyer on staff to add that "something something" to attract gay clientele. Lawyer fees from the division of assets tend to be pretty darned lucrative, especially with larger estates.

I'm still waiting for the first jilted gay live-in, boy toy to sue his sugar daddy for a portion of the assets based on an expansion of "common law" unions.

And if I wasn't clear about why I'm waiting for that last to happen, it is because when it happens I'm going to laugh real hard.

It will be one of those unintended consequences that they should've thought through and seen coming.

openly gay and lesbian attorneys in 2005, these lawyers averaged just 3.2 percent of firm staff

Hmmm, since studies put gays at 1.5% of the population, I would say they are over represented.

I have never had a problem with gay people, per se. But my gay friends do not shove their personal lives in my face in graphic detail.

I don't do it to them; what makes them think they should not extend the same courtesy to me?

What this country needs is quotas for middle aged married men. We REALLY are behind the eight ball. Victims R Us, Inc. /snigger

Why don't they reach out to the "circus freak" community while they're at it?
