I hope their mommies and daddies take their pictures when they get on their ponies.

Like many major U.S. newspapers, the Times, forced to compete with news Web sites on the Internet, has seen circulation decline.

To say the least.

Gn 22:17 your descendants shall take possession of the gates of their enemies

Newspaper sale$ decline should be blamed on the Journos

. . .

People who work at journalism full time ought to be able to do a better job of it than people for whom it is a hobby. But that's not going to happen as long as we "professional" journalists ignore stories we don't like and try to hide our mistakes. We think of ourselves as "gatekeepers." But there is not much future in being a gatekeeper when the walls are down.

Yes, the reporters were mean to the ponies! Thirty-one grown adults (weighing over 100 pounds) each took a turn riding THREE ponies during the noon heat. Did the ponies begin foaming at the mouth before they noticed it was to hot for the animals? Bet the L.A.Times receives more paper cancellations after this article.

31 adults on three ponies.

The LA Slimes are lucky that the ponies lived.

Cruelty to animals.

LOL!

That's 'round the world' drill . . . meant to instill confidence.

Pony looks pretty bored with it all. Kind of pony you want when you're trying that stunt. Friend of mine was on a naughty pony (NOT as naughty as Hair's pony, who is spectacularly naughty) who took off galloping when he was in just that awkward position. He held on to the back of the saddle and smiled and waved at everyone as "Butch" galloped back to his stable. Only time I ever saw that pony move was when he was headed homeward . . .

Aw jeez, what a bunch of idiots! Grownups doing pony rides? Even my kids would pity and despise them.

Probably had 'em snubbed fore and aft to the hot walker so they couldn't run off . . . poor ponies!

Those ponies sure are heavy. It takes 2 reporters to carry one. (Insert Monty Python Pic Here)

If the ponys are walking away from the camera it would be difficult to tell who the real horse's rearend is.

Great! You actually got a photo of this LA Slimes Editor when he wasn't in his hot tub with the other editors making up the next lie about President Bush.

Your tagline is really great!

We won't have the evening news to kick around very much longer, imo...
