This is simply a matter of employers wanting to pay well below market rates for labor. Taxes and welfare programs then support that cheap labor. I get my head of lettuce 10 cents cheaper but have to pay more for local, state and federal taxes. It doesn't seem like such a bargain any more.

Dude, six of the 9/11 hijackers had overstayed their visas. Others got waivers they should not have.

So the real point is, we need to strictly enforce our immigration laws. Not get rid of them.
