Probably a dumb question, but here goes. I know that Israel cannot clear out all opposition from the air alone and that there are deep Hezbollah bunkers, but why can't Israel use more power weapons such a fuel air explosives/over pressure bombs or MOABS to obliterate some of these villages and not fight house to house?

I would guess for the same reason the Marines went house to house in Fallujah instead of doing an Arclight on it.Makes for very very bad PR.
