I've been grantd a mini Mommy holiday today. Hubby and daughter are spending the day together, away from the house. I can't tell you how many times I have caught myself looking out the window to check on her..........and they've only been gone 2 hours!!!! You know I wasn't talking about you. ;-) You wouldn't believe how many times I will go out with my husband, hear a baby cry, then want to go home and see my baby. This usually after only a couple of hours.

Do you both also turn around when any child calls out "Mommy"? I still do that, even if its a small childs voice, and I have teen-agers now. How anyone can think being a mom is boring is just beyond me. Its a lot of things, but boring isn't one of them. Maybe the jobs that come with being a SAHM are, laundry, dishes, vacuuming etc., but being a mom, and raising children is the most important job in the world, how anyone can belittle that is just beyond me.

This usually after only a couple of hours. I confess that just last month my husband and I took a trip without the kids and I enjoyed it very much and didn't miss them a bit.
I spend a lot of time with my kids and love them to pieces! Sometimes they irritate me, and sometimes I pretend to be interested when I'm not. But most of the time I really like being with them. They are funny and have interesting ideas. I can't imagine missing one of their games or performances!
It's actually quite sad that this woman cannot enjoy her children.
