Tucson Police say men on a surveillance tape are doing more than just washing a car. They say they're trying to erase evidence.
Tucson Police say that surveillance tape may solve the mystery for a family who says someone broke into their home.
It's a story you'll see only on News 4.
A Tucson family says they've been living in fear since their home was burglarized a week ago.
Police say whoever did it took off with electronics, personal identification information, jewelry and the family car.
Monday, the family talked only to News 4's Lupita Murillo.

The men in the surveillance video look pretty innocent, washing a vehicle at an Eastside car wash.
Notice the quarters and extra time they're taking, but it's not their BMW they're cleaning.
This past Thursday morning the BMW was brought here to this car wash where it was detailed, and wiped clean of any fingerprints.
It was left on an empty tank of gas and everything in the glove compartment box was taken out.
The car was abandoned.
The vehicle belongs to this Tucson woman and her husband. She didn't want to go on camera for fear the people who burglarized her home and took her car might return.
"It smelled like drugs. It smelled bad even though they washed it. It smelled like pot or something. "
That's not all....the people who broke into their home apparently knew what they were doing....police say they picked the lock of a double bolted steel door.
They cut the wires off the phone line and disengaged the alarm system...including taking out the battery. They also took a huge plasma TV, computers, and jewelry.
"We not only lost material things, we lost our dignities. They took passports, whatever they found... Birth certificates... Social security cards... Stuff that is very personal and very compromising for us."
Also....stolen....jewelry her mother had passed on to her before she died.
"For these people they don't know the value of it. To them its just another piece of jewlery, to us it has sentimental value."
In the surveillance video...the two men are seen getting into a black pick-up truck and taking off.
Now whether these men burglarized the home, police are investigating.

LOL!! Couple of clowns!
Proof Positive that "Dumb Criminal" is a redundant statement.
Because of the nature of my business, I'm frequently going to and from my office at all hours of the clock. Along the way is a coin-op car wash, and I always have to wonder about the folks I see diligently scrubbing down the inside and outside of their vehicles at 2:00 or 3:00 a.m.....
Why doesn't she just take out an ad that she is a liberal hoplophobe sheep totally incapable of doing anything in her own defense? If they want to come back, they will, and now know that they needn't worry about the family being home.
I don't invite criminals to invade my home, I hate paperwork, I don't like disturbing the neighbors unnecessarily, I'm not fond of doing house repairs and blood is so hard to get out of the carpet.
I am prepared to deal with it if the criminals do come.
