I told my husband we would be better off if we renounced our citizenship, lived here as illegals and applied for food stamps, welfare, free medical, etc.We would still receive SS because they are planning on giving that to illegals as well. This is getting really pathetic and now this "self deport" crap. If they have lived here 20 years as an illegal why would they self deport now.
Only reson they MIGHT self deport would be if they can't find a job and the welfare goodies stop coming. But, I hate to say this, but even if we manage to get the political will to do that, we still have to deal with the problem of 11-20 million angry (mostly) men of military age who've already shown a willingness to get in the street, in our face. I say bring it on.

You ought to see all the malcontents with bad backs, homeless people and mentally ill folks lapping up our Social Security. I drive them places for a living. It would make you very ill.
