My main problem with this whole thing is the underhandedness of it all. I was not supporting Steele because he is a black Republican, I supported him because of his basic conservative ideals on many issues and because I thought he was a stand-up person.
Cardin is more liberal, yes, than Steele, but you at least know where he stands. I am a conservative, tired of being constantly played for the fool and abandoned by those who are where they are because of the hard work of Republican supporters.
One thing I cannot abide is disloyalty, and I am afraid that this episode, if verified, will hurt more than help Steele.
I take issue with Steele, for missing the obvious. President Bush had to fly over NO, because the airport was under water. You can't land Air Force One just any where. He should know that. DUH!
