Give Shep a break. The man went four straight days without any mascara during the Katrina Holocaust.

am tired of listening to Shep Smith from fox news in describing the fighting in BeirutWell, I do think he's over dramatic, that's for sure.

What a shame to see him jump to the other side. He was one of the few high-profiled personalities that could have put Log Cabin Republican's website back up to date

1. You could be right
but
2. Reporters sent to areas on the receiving end of a severe beating tend to sound sympathetic to the people who are being killed and/or defending - its the job of the producers back home to maintain balance in what goes on the air.

I used to like Shepperd Smith. When Wesley Clark made some comments about time-travel in the primaries of '04, Shep reported on it seeking comments from the Galactic Federation, etcetera. Shep roasted him in the single funniest segment I've ever seen on Fox News.

I saw him interviewing those Israeli soldiers (may G-d bless them). It was awful. Just as bad as that was his interview a few days ago of the wife and the father of one of the abducted soldiers. He tried so hard to turn it into one of those Couric-like goulish interviews, but the wife and father were such strong, fine people he couldn't pull it off.

I did not become a FNC viewer to be assaulted and insulted by this garbage from the mouth that roared. I have already posted that if Murdock and Ailes won't shut him up, Israel should ban him from the country. Let him move to CNN.

Shep won drama queen status right about Katrina time.
He is an emotional metrosexual. That's the best I can say about him.

Relax - if you're intelligent enough to see a slant on the news - then you can expect others are just as able to see the same thing.
Don't waste your energy worrying about the Press - just know that most people see things for what they are.
Good lord - some times I wonder how Eisenhower, Nixon, and others were ever elected - since all they had was the MSM to deal with.
Relax everyone

Shep had some glowing comments about Hezbollah yesterday. He talked about the welfare and educational programs they had instituted in Lebanon and how the people look up to them. Someday, hopefully, Shep will make a wonderful wife for some mullah or sheik.
