Out of sight of Mom.
From the article: The mother told police she was about 5 feet away from her son when she heard a loud crash. Mom saw nothing.
as could I make about why you're no longer working in Pediatrics.
Excuse me? I taught Sunday School. I've never worked in pediatrics. And never said that I did.
And you say you won't make assumptions but then make THESE assumptions: You've got an agenda and you've got issues and they have nothing to do with the death of a child or the grief of a mother.
Holy cow lady. Does this mean you've taken me off your ping list?
Yep, I'm taking you off the
'Those who get off on the grief of others by telling everyone what great parents they were and how perfect their parents were and if the whole world just raised their kids the way they raised their kids and they themselves were raised then no children would ever ever ever die in freak accidents.'
Ping list.
As for the Pedatrics thing, I mistook you for Westlander, I apologize.
As for the Mother having her eyes off the child, how long are we talking? The mirrors in my Walmart are close to the bedding section. So, she looks up, grabs a stack of towels to put in the cart and BAM! Little Joey is dead.
You have to look at what you're buying when you're shopping, otherwise, you come out with a cart full of nothing you went in for.
You do not know if the child was within sight of the mother or not. Isn't it possible that the mom looked at her child every 5 seconds or so, but didn't happen to be looking at the particular moment the mirror fell?
On the other hand, I guess it is possible that the child was on the other side of a clothing rack, out of sight, but still within 5 feet.
A 3 year old, while out shopping, should not be in a place where the parent cannot see him/her.
