They don't have to prove anything, and they never will prove anything to anyone that chooses to shut their eyes and close their ears.

Yea, he is in Baghdad. He also has a blog on foxnews.com. I heard him say after his last stint in Iraq that he would not go back. I guess he can't resist being where the action is.

Condi went to Beirut? Is she nuts? I don't know but she's certainly underpaid, that's for sure.

That's what I like about Steve. He obviously doesn't enjoy being where the bullets are flying, when he's scared shiiteless it shows, he doesn't showboat like Shep, but he goes where he has to go and does what he has to do.
Also, unlike Shep, he looked like he was having a fun vacation last year covering hurricanes. "Whoooa!"

Sometime in the last hour or so, someone on FOX said that Israel took the position that they would only sign a cease fire with Lebanon, not with Hizbullah since they (Israel) does not negotiate with terrorists.
If so, that is an interesting and clever position for down the road that would force Lebanon to cleanup it's act or face continued Israeli strikes every time Hizbullah screws up.

She praised Seniora for his courage and steadfastness? What courage and steadfastness?
I don't get it. Bush keeps talking about preserving the Lebanese government when a good chunk of the government is made up of Hezbollah! And the rest of the government has shown no indication of wanting to take control of the country and remove Hezbollah.
Seniora doesn't seem to be a good guy and is undeserving of any praise from what I can see. I don't get it.

That calls for a pitty point reduction of at least 5 :) But sometimes the power goes out here. Can I get about three points back? ;-)

Another 15 terrorists killed in and around Bint Jbail according to IDF sources.
Slowly but surely they being ground down. Those tunnels and fortifications that would have been a formidable obstacles for the Israelis if they had wanted to make rapid forays deep into Lebanon, instead turns out to be death-traps for the terrorists when the IDF takes time to methodically isolate and subjugate the fortified villages.
The only salvation for the terrorists is a cease-fire, but not even the Europeans seem to be too keen any longer.
"Lebanon is in such a terrible state, a cease-fire can only happen as part of an overall solution to its political instability," said a European diplomat, who spoke on condition of anonymity, given the sensitive nature of the Mideast crisis.
And who said that President Bush and his team didn't know diplomacy?
Anyway. don't misunderstand me; it will still be a very hard fight for the IDF to dislodge the Hezbollah but their front-line fighters are being surrounded and decimated (or better if you think of the original meaning of the word).
According to the IDF Hezbollah has around 1000 terrorists in the villages close to the Israel border. Already by Saturday the IDF claimed to have killed some 100 Hezbollas, and they estimate that there are around 500 terrorists in Bint Jbail.
As noted by Fitzcarraldo many of the "dead martyrs" are in their 30s or 40s, probably senior Hezbollah members. Their "front line" fighters are being mauled by the IDF, and there is nothing they can do about it. As long as they have the village surrounded and covered by the IAF there is no way out for these terrorists.

To keep my sanity over the democrat activists' statements, I recall how many of us responded to the Clinton administration.
They hate republicans as much as we hate them.
