I would tend to agree that our President hasn't articulated that enough. He probably knows how he would absolutely be raked over the coals as a hatemonger and Arab-hater, etc, etc. But still, there are some things that just must be said.
WRT Tony Blair, I'm not sure what he has articulated and how well, I don't follow it closely enough. On the weapons, I'd say he's bowing to short-term pressure.

I had him on earlier. In the duration I was watching, he seemed to be very measured in what he was saying. I started wondering if FOX was paying attention to all those emails and gave him a chewing.
But I guess not.
He sounds like some anachronistic lefty wimp from the late '60s/early '70s, who were saying how "wonderful" the damned Black Panthers were, because they gave poor black kids breakfast.
I do think he's trying to be more reserved tonight. Also, he's referring to Jen a lot now.
I do think the emails have had an affect. Sounds to me like it anyway.
Why does Shep get so much air-time?...they have quite a few other reporters there that do an outstanding job, but ever sine Shep has arrived it's all Shep all day long..

Along the same line(s), if you're tired of what's on Fox some evening, and are just TV'd out, period, IF you haven't read it, sit down with a copy of Robert Heinlein's "The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress". Boulders as deadly weapons...
And I'd have to say a good part of my conservative leanings were initially shaped by that book... (Initial shaping of a skull full of mush?)
