U.S. Rep. Robert Wexler has sat in front of some of the hottest television lights in the world of news talk, barking about political rivals, demanding action and mostly holding his own in on-air squabbles.
Then he sat down with comedian Stephen Colbert.

Wexler thought he knew what he was getting into but really he didn't.
He found himself talking about whether caribou meat should be used to fuel sport utility vehicles. And he found himself being cajoled into staring at the camera and saying, "I enjoy cocaine because it's a fun thing to do," in a segment that aired Thursday night.
Welcome to Comedy Central, congressman....

It was stupid of Wexler to act like a parrot on camera. The thing that was the most interesting to me was his immediate reaction to the questions about drilling in ANWAR ad off the Florida coast. Typical of the Commiecrats, Wexler answers this talking point question without any thought. It was like watching someone getting their reflexes checked by a doctor where they hit you on the top of the knee. He's like a damn windup doll. Pitiful. What a wuss.
It's just funny how they keep going in there acting like they think it is a serious interview and then end up being bewildered by the end.
Classic deer-in-headlights - jumps out on the road and wonders "what's this big shiny thing coming at me?"
I believe it was Colbert, while on the Dailey Show, who rode on McCain's Press bus during his Presidential campaign.
funny stuff
Speaking of Gore - the two look like brothers.
