And I thought it was just us British who were picky :0) but I know where you are coming from. I often get criticized at work for being too exacting but in export it is either right or wrong and the difference is getting something stuck in customs for weeks and incurring a great deal of expense and the customer being very annoyed.

LOL~ actually that comes from my mom who has always been a grammar freak; in our house growing up if we said "ain't" then it was woe be to us!! (Usually it was my sister who would, just to be obtuse.)
