This ridge is critical for an attack on Bint Jbail, Hezbollah command center for the central part of the border. The ridge sits 600 feet above Bint Jbail. I would expect an attack into Bint Jbail today or tonight.

Most of the "martyrs" have been over 30 years old (see thread from yesterday) - none in their twenties. I think you are right - this is not the ordinary cannon fodder.
No cable, so I didn't know. Poor old dialup, too - took me 10 passes to get rebel_yell2's photos loaded, but it was worth the wait to see 'em.
I'm right at the loop, just outside. Where I live now is rough without the K-people, so they have made it extra-bad.
Credit goes to FR prayer warriors, however - keeping fingers crossed, last time I said this, it jinxed it - I asked for help after I had to call the cops and they've been *relatively* quiet ever since then (Juneteenth, it was - ask me how I remember that).
And no, all of SW Houston is not rough - much further out west there are parts that are. This is a nice residential neighborhood where I've lived for 13 years - however, I'm now a few blocks away from my old house and light years from civilization, in the pits of it due to a financial crisis.
