This was my first event. I dragged my wife and 6 year old son on a hot 2 hour drive across the valley to be there. It was 110 degrees outside and we choked on exhaust fumes.
It was a wonderful, glorious day, spent with good people, and making a small but worthwhile difference. I'd highly recommend you try it sometime!
dung.
Thank you again for being there!
Congrats to you and your family on your first FReep! May it be the first of many many more. Thank you for being there!
It was great to meet you, Moose. Hope you're planning on coming to the FResno picnic in September.
It was hot, the perspiration was rolling off like sweat, but I can't help but think of our nephew over in the Tikrit area. 110 degrees is about the coolest part of the day for him and his soldiers. We were cooking, but we got to go home when we were done. He'll be coming home in November. The two hour drive was well worth it imho.
May God Bless and Protect our troops! May He continue to watch over Israel.
Thank you, and please extend my thanks to your wife and son for standing tall for our freedom.
I am always surprised that people do not ignore me when I do something like this. Maybe 20-30 percent have some comment (sometimes pro, sometimes con), that always shocks me because usually, I'm just one person holding a sign. I am not a celebrity or anything.
If you want your photo on the web, I have a bunch of them from the Stand With Israel Rally. You are featured prominently! I wish I knew how to post them.
Get that muffler fixed!
