I swear, though, I haven't heard this much whining from someone Down Under since 1999 when all our New Zealand Freepers were screaming about Clinton appointing former Sen. Carol Mosely-Braun as the U.S. Ambassador to N.Z. (And I can post a picture of her that will put you into therapy for years.) She was only in N.Z. for less than 2 years and was a paragon of virtue there compared to her one term in the U.S. Senate. She didn't chase any more Nigerian dictators, her expense accounts had at least a vague resemblance to reality, and the New Zealanders didn't have to count their silverware after she left. But they griped anyway....
