I heard Barletta interviewed yesterday morning on John Gambling's radio show on WABC in NYC..very nice guy. I think that Rendell has picked the wrong dog in this fight..it may cost him the election..

Which was the most limp voter ID bill ever...that dared to ask for something as weak as an *gasp* electric bill as proof of identity! What Fast Eddie the Mobster objected to most was removing the voting machines in Philly from private homes and Democrat precinct headquarters.

I'm not familiar with PA politics or Governor Rendell. So I went to his website to see his party affiliation, etc. I clicked on "Governor's Homepage:"

I noticed the PA logo. Is that the keystone for the keystone state? http://www.50states.com/bio/nickname4.htm It reminds me of the Heinz logo. Did the Heinz company adopted the state logo? Too bad Senator John Heinz died in a plane accident in 1991:

When I first read about it, it reminded me of the sabotage attempt on the plane of Governor Winthrop Rockefeller as presented in "The Secret Life of Bill Clinton" by Ambrose Evans-Pritchard. Maybe someone should copy the appropriate chapter and give it to Teresa Heinz Kerry.
