I'm not familiar with PA politics or Governor Rendell. So I went to his website to see his party affiliation, etc. I clicked on "Governor's Homepage:"
http://www.governor.state.pa.us/governor/site/default.asp?governorNav=| There is no mention of party affiliation. But their are three prominent links to tax relief. He "looks" conservative.
I noticed the PA logo. Is that the keystone for the keystone state? http://www.50states.com/bio/nickname4.htm It reminds me of the Heinz logo. Did the Heinz company adopted the state logo? Too bad Senator John Heinz died in a plane accident in 1991:

When I first read about it, it reminded me of the sabotage attempt on the plane of Governor Winthrop Rockefeller as presented in "The Secret Life of Bill Clinton" by Ambrose Evans-Pritchard. Maybe someone should copy the appropriate chapter and give it to Teresa Heinz Kerry.
