Crist is a strong supporter of gun rights. Haven't heard a peep out of Gallagher on that issue . Crist will get my vote .

It will be Crist versus Davis, and Crist will win . Can't say the same about our Senate race unfortunately .

Please read my post #55.

Do you agree with Crist regarding the creation and destruction of human embryos for research?

for the record...

''We hope that you will take this selfless step forward to put the party first and that the unity from this will be the crowning achievement of your dedicated career as a Republican,'' wrote state Rep. Jeff Kottkamp, a Cape Coral Republican and Crist supporter. Similar letters were signed by three Miamians: Reps. J.C. Planas, Marcelo Llorente and Rene Garcia.

The other legislators who asked Gallagher to close shop: Sens. Mike Fasano of New Port Richey, Nancy Argenziano of Dunnellon, Mike Haridopolous of Melbourne, Holly Benson of Pensacola, Bill Galvano of Bradenton and Don Brown of DeFuniak Springs.

I'm cracking up!!

Do you think he is going to actually follow through on all he says?

He isn't even making sure his campaign contributions are going according to law.

Ever think of asking Gallagher his position?

I shouldn't have to " ask " Gallagher where he stands on the basic Conservative issues . Platitudes about protecting Floridas families don't cut it . What does that mean ? I just checked his website and it says nothing about the gun issue . It's all platitiudes . He should have it on his website or literature and now it's too late . Crist will get my vote .

Guns are more important than the sanctity of life? Crist's statement of support for the stem cell bill that Pres. Bush vetoed is a big clue that he is not so conservative as he says he is.

What would it take to squash your support of Crist? I'm not asking what would it take for you to support Gallagher. What would be the one thing that Crist could do/support/condone that would eliminate him as your choice for Florida's governor?

I was at my bro's p.c. but I don't see my post but I said that Tom Gallagher was in the Honor Guard at Arlington Natl. Cemetery and there's a 100 per cent chance that Gallagher knows how to use a firearm. As far as his policy on guns, I'm sure we can dig it up for you frontliner or check his web site. End of my tag line.

I don't think Crist has ever touched a firearm but what concerns me about him is that I'm starting to get the idea that Donald Trump is a big globalist and would be a major influence on Crist.

We only know about the one illegal Ukrainian who attended a NJ fundraiser for Crist held by Donald Trump.

Is Donald Trump running around with any other illegal alien businessmen that we should be concerned about? We only know about the one who was found out but the article did not print the illegal alien's name.

I'm sure he's still here and wasn't deported. I don't want a bunch of illegal alien globalists running around our state.

Gallagher's policy on immigration is posted on the first section of this thread. Tom Gallagher is the ONLY candidate for governor who came out against amnesty. Crist is for the pathway nonsense. That I know for a fact.

The legislators bullying Gallagher want big promotions from Charlie, that's all. Crist is going to launch some Hollywood commercials (found out today). I don't know who he's planning on attacking but it's going to get pretty nasty.

Tom Gallagher is the ONLY candidate for governor who came out against amnesty. Crist is for the pathway nonsense. If you put Trump and amnesty together, it looks like Crist is going to find Trump hotel workers who are illegals. hmmmmmmmmmm? There are no coincidences.

Crist's web site may say he is a strong supporter of gun rights but this article says otherwise. Crist is not strong - except for his views against the culture of life although his campaign material says he's for life. hah! He's a big fraud regarding the culture of life. His friends from Pinellas turned the culture of death into an industry.

Re: GUNS, Gallagher came in at number one, Crist at "he'll think about it" with the libs said "no".

St. Pete Times

This will at least enliven the governor's race, which so far has sounded like a bunch of gorillas thumping their chests over who has the most endorsements and money. Among the announced candidates, it's one for the gun lobby, one for property rights, one who's hedging, and one yet to be heard from.

1. Tom Gallagher sent word that he would sign the bill if he were governor now. 2. Charlie Crist said he supports gun rights but would not decide before seeing the bill "in its final form after the legislative process." 3. Jim Davis' comment is pending. 4. Sen. Rod Smith, the only candidate who will have to vote on it, took a stand: No

If you won't ask, I have and when I have a complete answer from the Gallagher Camp, I'll post it on this thread whether it's too late for you or not.

I already posted an answer from the St. Pete Times above if you will read that the Times noted Gallagher said he "would sign the bill in support of gun rights".

Gallagher handled firearms in the Third Infantry of the Army. (The only gun Crist possibly ever handled was a squirt gun.)

So you believe that calling for the end of Citizens Insurance, and leaving hundreds of thousands of people without insurance right before hurricane season is not a black mark on your record?

Crist has broken ranks with Jeb (among other things) on stem cell research and abortion waiting limits, Crist is an empty suit who will not debate Gallagher.

In the last two years the property insurers have collected six billion dollars in premiums, and experienced thirty five billion dollars in Claims. It is a wonder that any insurer will write a policy at all in this state. Don't blame Gallagher. Blame out of control coastal building and mother nature.

Tom is one hundred per cent pro gun. I have asked him and he has told me so. Charlie is a "progressive". That means that after he gets through the primaries, all conservative bets are off.

"Gallagher handled firearms in the Third Infantry of the Army. (The only gun Crist possibly ever handled was a squirt gun.)"

That logic is fatally flawed . I'll never vote for someone just because they were in the military. Does Algore sound familiar ?

Oh by the way , I just converted three more people to the Crist camp. If Gallgher wins the primary i'll support him . It's more than I can say about the anti-Crist camp .
