Why shouldnt they?
They say that like it's a BAD thing.
"But such death and madness on the eighth day of confrontation is threatening to become part of a long statistics in a war that warriors on both sides appear to have hungered after and pursue with objectives and strategies that far exceed the objectives and rationales that they present to the world."
That needs a Barf Alert. Defending your country against Terror is never "madness".
NOBODY wants war less than the warriors that have to fight it, because they're the ones that end up paying the price.
Terrorists like Hezbollah? They don't care.
If Hezbollah wants to meet Allah, then it's the IDF's job to arrange the meeting. Warm up the virgins, folks.

Boy, Thomas Schellen really "gets it," doesn't he?
What a bonehead.
Typical anti-Israeli drivel: The Jews fight back and all the A-rabs scream that they're victims. Poor babies.
The targeting of Lebanon's roads, bridges, airports, etc. was what had to be done to isolate Hezbollah terrorists and prevent Syria and Iran from resupplying them with military hardware, ammunition, troops and other supplies. To try and claim that Israel did this simply to "punish the Lebanese people" is a big lie being perpetuated by the world's most experienced liars, namely, the islamists and the msm who support them.
Might be time to bring back an effective weapon against tunnels and caves.
Schellen ain't gellin'.
What we may be witnessing here is the end of a long love affair with the Jewish nation and Jews as a people deserving autonomy.
As they were largely abandoned by the majority of nations during Hitler's long campaign of eradication and displacement they now seem to be in like jeopardy from the risk involved in supporting them.
