I don't understand what about Islam appeals to women.

The guys get to be violent and then get a lot of hot sex in the HereAfter.

The women? What's in it for them?

If that was my sister, there would be no trial for that muslim scum to go to because there would be no more muslim scum.

Well, then, the Australians shoud say their cultural background is the justification for dragging them out in the alley and shooting castrating them.

...with a sickle dipped in pig's blood.

Actually, they should be hung and if you didn't want to hang them by the neck till dead.

With a piece of pork jammed in their mouths like the British Raj did in India. (They also had a Hindu act as hang man. A job most cheerfully -- and eagerly -- done.)

didn't a top Aussie official recently say that if Muslims living in Australia didn't like Aussie law and wanted Sharia law, they could go to a country that observed Sharia law, and would not be welcomed in Australia ? Has that gone into law? into effect?

Looks like the rapists picked the wrong vic if they expected docility in the aftermath of their manly conquering (cough) of a woman, three-to-one at the time of the rapes.

As the American slaves used to say, "Bottom rail on top this time."

I am very glad to see the government of Oz took this seriously and is appealing the light sentence.

What's in it for them is they "get" to serve these beasts. They are born female and in the world of Isalmists, that is their curse. Sort of gives an idea what life was like for women around most of the world till actual civil rights for women started being attained.

As for the hot sex in the hereafter, the women finally get liberated from that joke of a male hope.

However, I should like to see all of them find out what life in the hereafter is truly about, before they arrive there. (See my tag line.)

Last April, on the day of the sentencing, she sat in the front row of the gallery and, as three of the K brothers were about to be led away, shouted: "See ya guys! Have a nice life! Enjoy prison." She said later: "I know that was a bit immature, but I've been waiting a long time. I've had to shut up for four years. I wanted them to see they hadn't beaten me."

You go girl!

This is one strong young woman...someone I would want on my side when the chips are down.

All four of the gang-rape victims and their families were deeply affected by the various trials involving the K brothers.

Did the "K" brothers rape more than Ms. Wagner? The article is a bit confusing. Also, referring to the rapists as the K brothers. Are the rapists names not allowed to be published?

Don't think so but there were a number of rapes by Muslims. Gang rape is often referred to as "Leb style." Apparently names are not published in Australia even after conviction.

"Leb style."

I'm a little naive..... sodomy? Protecting the criminals. I wasn't aware that Australia did this.

I googled a bunch of articles, and learned that the identities of perps is indeed protected under Australian law.

Normally it isn't - not after a person is charged at any rate, although names will often not be published until charges are formally laid.

However in this case, one of the offenders was a minor at the time the crime was committed, and the identities of minors who commit crimes are protected in New South Wales. Because he was related to the other offenders, identifying them would allow him to be identified, so they can't be identified either.

But it's solely because of his age at the time of his crime.

The 'K' brothers received sentences ranging from 15 to 24 years in prison. A co-accused 'RS', not related to the brothers received a similar sentence, but hanged himself in prison and so rarely appears in news stories.

The 'K' brothers - MSK, MAK, MRK, MMK - and a friend RS - were convicted of only two rapes - those of 16 and 17 year old girls on July 28th, 2002.

It is more or less accepted that they committed a number of other crimes.

On January 20th, 2002 an 18 year old and a 20 year old girl were abducted, the 18 year old was sexually assaulted but managed to fight off her attacker and the girls escaped.

On February 14th, 2002, three girls (including Tegan Wagner from this article, then aged 14) were abducted. Tegan was raped, by three of the brothers.

On July 14th, 2002, a 13 year old girl was raped by MMK (though she consented, her age makes this a statuatory rape) before being raped by MSK and RS - she did not, in any way, consent to these attacks.

MMK is alleged to have indecently assaulted a 15 year old girl in November 2001, but she chose not to go to trial. On May 12, 2002, MMK allegedly indecently assaulted two teenage girls who police have been unable to identify - he videotaped his assault.

There may well have been other crimes as well - some reports indicate up to eighteen likely victims.

Because two of the offenders were minors at the times of their crimes, their identities are protected under NSW law. As the other offenders are the brothers of one of the minors, identifying them would allow him to be identified as well, and so their identities are suppressed as well - normally they would not be.

And I think that even now the authorities are absolutely desperate to avoid the slightest appearance they're taking any extra interest in these kooks.

It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if that were true. When I was at the gun show, I saw a group of kids that looked like gang-bangers filling out forms to buy a gun. I'm of the opinion that the American governemnt has largely given up trying to fight crime or even those whose aim is to subjugate us, and focus on keeping the law-abiding citizens in line.
