OT: FNC just reported that John Thune took reporters to task for misquoting him that Republicans should run from President Bush during the November elections. He said no such thing.

NOT that I don't trust him...I don't trust the media..BUT, I know of 2 cases where Thune has already come out AGAINST something that Bush has wanted..and he did it "on the media record"..
So..with his track record, here in his FIRST term...I would like to read exactly what he did say.
Hi Peach - Just read your note on Thune. IF he did not say this - the reporter took something waaaaaaaaaay out of context. I was "deeply saddened" when I first heard of it and had to console myself with the fact that at least little Tommy was gone. Being as I sent some hard-earned $$ to Thune campaign as did some other FReepers - I felt we had been kicked to the curb along with the President. Please ping me if you hear anymore on this.
