All of these news shows have made a big deal about all of the misplaced Lebanese..and have shown them crowding into nothern cities in Lebanon.
They make it sound like the "worst" thing that could happen...BUT, these people are streaming north..and are misplaced because the Israelis wanted them ALIVE..not dead.
They could have done a "shock and awe", but the dropped leaflets...make phone calls, did precision strikes...
I don't blame the people for being upset...I blame the MEDIA for making the situation out to be what it isn't..not being honest about how much worse it could be for them.
Also...the Americans that whined and cried about the time and conditions of their escape...should be grateful that the Israelis LET them leave....if this had been some other enemy...I doubt if that many people from other countries would have been allowed to have warships just float into the coastline...
This whole "conflict", "crisis", "war", has been misrepresented, IMHO>
