An Israeli soldier scouts the area near the Israel-Lebanon border, July 20, 2006.
That's a problem you very much need to correct; especially because there are now damned female suicide bombers. There already were children, who were suicide bombers, but they have all been boys.
whatevers...I guess I will have to continue to await hearing
that voice of God , that I expect to be hearing some day :^)
It would change everything....
Ran out of space, that was from Michelle's website. Didn't someone write a book "Postcards From the Fringe"?
It is difficult to comprehend the sickness on the left
Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh
You are correct.
According to what I read, the plane crashed 'on takeoff'.
eh?
According to Sky News there are huge explosions in Tyre.
They are speculating that there is a ground battle going on.
Showing a live picture, and it looks like the whole city is covered in smoke.
True, but nothing in the morning either - so far. Let's hope it stays that way.
PS: Used Google Earth to look at the terrain along the northern Israeli border. Quite an altitude difference between the north and the south side of the border in many places. No wonder it is a hard slog for the Israeli troops to dislodge Hezbollah.
That is why the Israelis have hung unto the Golan Heights so doggedly.
Out for a while, stuff to do.
I'll check back in a couple hours.
Yes, I have visited the Golan heights and it would be the last thing ever I would give up in any negotiations.
Sitting up there will keep the Syrians on the up and up. However, with Syrian guns on the Golan hights huge areas of Israel would be at their mercy.

Have you heard the story about the Israeli spy who saved the Israelis at Gaza?
He attained a position in the Syrian high command. When he took a tour of Golan he realized the Syrian positions were undetectable so he convinced the Syrians to plant trees to shade the soldiers.
The Israelis targeted the trees and wiped out the Syrian defenders.
Anything further from Tyre?

This is an article describing what goes thru the pilots mind that are flying missions over Lebanon.
They haven't come with any new reports.
There is a breaking news banner saying there are a "series of huge explosions heard in southern Lebanese city of Tyre"
Nasrullah went to school in Tyre/Soure.
No! That's quite a story!
Was that Elie Cohn?
Bizarre.
