An Israeli soldier scouts the area near the Israel-Lebanon border, July 20, 2006.
Sky News out of Hafia was reporting about 20 minutes ago about some serious arty barrages being heard all the back in Hafia
"I realize that, and I agree. However, I was talking about the "typical" type of marlboro man. Lower caps, OK???? :)"
Yes, thanks
NBC News told by western intelligence source that Lebanon invasion to begin tonight
That little dweeb's ratings are not because of him, but because 1. He follows Brit Hume, 2. He's on ahead of O'Reilly, and 3. He is on an hour later than a lot of the network newscasts, so people can watch him when they get home from work.
I just KNEW sending him to Israel was going to result in a huge embarassment. I am SO glad the grandkids have cartoons on. If I had seen that live I might have stroked out.
I ventured over to DUmmieland for a minute.
They are calling for the Senate to use Bolton's confirmation hearing and vote next week as a chance to "pay back" Bush for NOT doing anything in the last 6 years to bring peace to the Middle East or to help the Palestinians.
So they are getting a "filibuster" petition up again.
It sounds like Biden and Harry Reid are ready, willing, and able to oblige...too bad it is at the most important time in the UN in a while...with the North Korean threats, the Iranians stalling about the "resolution" that they are supposed to be thinking about...this Israel/Lebanon fighting.
Yeah, DEMS....put politics above these 3 VERY dangerous situations that could impact our country disastrously.
The UN peacekeeping force in Southern Lebanon has been there since 1978! This year alone their budget is $99+ million. The force commander is French.

I hope they find that "unnamed source" and string him up, if this is the case.
I just turned the television on FNC and there was a banner that said "Chemical Plant Explodes". I don't know where it was; did anyone else hear about this?
Only the UN could create a 'force' that won't use force.
It's here in the US...South Carolina (I think?).
I just pray every day that people see how it's clearly more important to the Rats to regain power than it is to protect our country.
Party before Country could be their mantra.
Uh oh. I'm in South Carolina.
Ooh, that was mean. Nasty mean. Heh.
They said they just told residents to 'stay inside'...no evacuation.
I just went to google.
It was in Spartanburg, SC; witnesses reported a mushroom cloud from the explosion.

Will go call my sister who lives in Spartanburg.
ROFL!
Who was Shimmering Shep interviewing when he had his meltdown over the word "animals"? Too bad the guy wasn't there to slap the snot out of the little coward.
Know anything about the plant?
Looking at the article, it appears to be a textile plant. Could be a dust explosion.
Hope she's ok!
