I am sorry you don't get waht I mean, but perhaps your isea off what a marriage is might be different from mine, I suspect.
How do you know gay marriages are all about sex? Seriously--how do you know this? And are you seriously saying there aren't straight marriaghes that aren't about sex?
I am sorry you don't get waht I mean, but perhaps your isea off what a marriage is might be different from mine, I suspect.
I am sorry you have to go off into these types of personal comments instead of straightforwardly answering a question. I don't mean insults, because you haven't insulted me, but these non sequiters about what you perceive of as my idea of marriage as a way of casting aspersions, when the truth is you haven't answered my simple question--probably because you don't like the answers.
I rephrase--regular marriages haven't broken up because of infidelity? Straight marriages are ALWAYS about perfect, spiritual love?
Most straight people marry--not all, but more than 50%. Gays make up a few percentage points of the population. Of those, a tiny amount are married (most probably Massachusetts residents).
Considering those numbers, wouldn't someone who's intellectually honest have no problem admitting that there are a lot more straight marriages that break up due to infidelity than gay marriages?
You seem to have missed my point, and gone off on a tangent. The point is there are many legit reasons to oppose gay marriage, but to claim that "married gays are unfaithful" is a ludicrous one, considering how many straight married people are, too.
"The point is there are many legit reasons to oppose gay marriage, but to claim that "married gays are unfaithful" is a ludicrous one, considering how many straight married people are, too."
Should read:
"The point is there are many legit reasons to oppose gay marriage, but to claim that "married gays are unfaithful" IS ONE OF THE IMPORTANT ONES is ludicrous, considering how many straight married people are UNFAITHFUL, too."
