Israel's United Nations ambassador Dan Gillerman claims his government is in possession of documents that reveal Iran is funding the Lebanese terrorist group Hezbollah to the amount of $100 million yearly.

Gillerman made his accusations at U.N. headquarters where he was conferring with Security Council diplomats about the latest developments in the war-torn region.

U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan, who returned to New York City last night, briefed Council members on the latest developments of his Mideast negotiating team.

And in turn Hezbollah pays Lebanon to be allowed to operate in that country.

So what we have is Iran paying a fee to be allowed to attack Israel from Lebanon because otherwise they would be unable to do so.

The missiles come from Iran, the experts come from Iran, the money comes from Iran, the attack orders come from Iran and Iran is allowed to get away with it even after 9/11. No wonder they treat us with such contempt and arrogance in front of the whole world.

And Lebanon is NOT innocent, as some are trying to make them seem. They took blood money and thus have blood on their hands.

We don't have any proof of that yet, do we? I think Hezbollah operates like most terrorist groups...they have a charity front and a military front. It is the charity front that buys permission and wins local approval.

My point is this...we (at FR) know that Iran and Syria are behind Hezbollah, but the U.S. and Israel are looking for a smoking gun such as Iranian troops being in Lebanon and taking part in this fight. We need proof so that we can build a case with world opinion as to taking the fight to Iran.

Supporters of the President know that Iraq had WMD's before our invasion there...but the lack of a bountiful capture of them proved problematic in a political sense. This time, we need a smoking gun (and I am of the opinion that either one will be found OR Iran will take some future action which draws themselves into the conflict).

Right now, things are going surprisingly well...with overwhelming support for Israel in the House, support from several Arab countries, and even a Saudi fatwa issued against Hezbollah. To keep this momentum, we need some good evidence re: Iran.

I see, however my post had absolutely nothing to do with presenting evidence about Iran to anyone.

The 100 million clams did not come from profits on Persian rugs nor pistachio nuts, this terrorist 'donation' and many others are derived from OPEC Iran's exported sales of crude oil & natural gas to energy hungry nations in the West.

The solution is disrupt the sole source of Islamic Iran's mega-billions, and the Mullah/Ahmadinejad dictatorship crumbles from within.

Carter allowed the Shah to fall knowing bloody well Iran would fall to 7th century Islamic thugs.
