Jul. 20, 2006 17:23 Lebanese Army may join forces with Hizbullah By JPOST.COM STAFF
The Lebanese Minister of Defense warned Israel Thursday that if IDF ground forces are sent into southern Lebanon, Lebanese troops will fight along with the Hizbullah against Israel.
Bad move .......
That decision would be incorrect. When choosing sides, choosing the winning side is usually a better idea.
I'm not surprised.
Fine......now that the masks are off, the gloves can come off, too.
Yep, pretty stupid...if the Lebanese were really smart, they would give up Hezbollah to the Israelis and live happily ever after. Now, they're just going to be pounded into the dust alongside the terrorists.
And they weren't already?
I thought Lebanon wanted to get rid of Hezbollah?
Hey, they want to work with Hezbollah, that's on them.
Nor I.
The Lebanese army is largely muzzie and sided with the muzzies in the civil war.
Israel isn't bothered by armies. ....especially not ones as pathetic as Lebanon's; they're bothered by terrorists dug into civilian areas hiding in schools, churches, etc.
Well that would simplify things.
OK, now I'm confused....is it Hizbullah or Hezbolla or Hizzbula? If it's Hizbullah, would a group of female terrorists be called Herzbollah? This is like back in 1986 when Libya's leader's name was Qaddafi, Gadhafi or Gaddaffi.
Some pundit on Fox News (I think it was Ambassador Ross) stated that the Lebanese Army was 50% Hezbollah supporters anyway. The reason that Lebanon couldn't get Hezbollah out of their country is because so many in the military supports them.
In the case of the latter, "Khadaffy Duck".
Send in Condi...
I heard that too. Lebanon is headed for an inevitable civil war (IMO)
Big bluff! But hey, if the government of Lebanon wants to fight alongside Hizzbolah, then Israel can stop pussyfooting around with those big bombs...anything in Lebanon becomes a legitimate target for Israel. And forget about suing Israel to pay for damages.
Here's a guy that seemingly thought his forces couldn't control Hezbollah, but now thinks they have enough strength to face Israel. Boy was I wrong about that idiot.
