The first time I had heard it in years was back in 1996 where a human-resources employee at my new job uttered it when she found a goofy mistake in one of the forms.
Clearly, "that's so gay" is coming back into vogue again if the school boards have to ban its use.
Personally, I think that not long from now, "that's so gay" will be the slogan of an anti-PC backlash.
Last time I checked, there wasn't a "right to be respected" in the Charter; respect was something you earned. Or are the Human Rights tribunals going to write that "right" in too?
This part of the story says all that I need to know. At least, the 'committee' is not wasting American Tax Dollars.
So I guess "That's so queer" would be better?
So, which of the two dykes produced the sperm?
I didn't ask. The one that worked for me was so crazy, talking to her was like enticing a parrot.
That's so sad. Perhaps they are that depressed because they are given conflicting information, that is, their consciences are telling them homosexuality is wrong, but the schools are telling them it's right.
Yet another reason why it shouldn't even be discussed in schools, besides the (what should be) obvious reason: Schools are for teaching academic facts, not social engineering.
Yeah, it gives breeders a bad name.
How about heterophilic? Phobic indicates an unreasoned fear, not the commonplace distaste, disgust, or instinctive avoidance.
There is no inalienable right to be respected. Which is not what this is about, anyway.
If people want to be respected, they need to act respect-worthy. And even then there's no guarantee.
This is merely another attempt to homosexualize children.
It's all following the plan laid out in the book "After the Ball: How America Will Conquer Its Fear and Hatred of Gays in the 90's".
Actually "homophobic" literally means "fear of same."
I'm not stupid; I'm just perpetually sleep-deprived. ;-)
(Hey! That would make a good tagline...)
That's so queer. That's so "otherly".
Lol! Well put! :)
I REALLY hate the terms homophobe or homophobia. It implies that I'm afraid of fags. I'm not afraid of them, I'm disgusted by them. The truth be told, I think all fags are heterophobes.
We played that too, but no one (that I know anyway) thought "queer" meant 'homosexual', it basically meant 'different' (i.e. having the ball). Great game - it was definitely a gut check having to pick up that ball, and it really separated the men from the boys in terms of who grabbed the ball and who didn't. Personally, I'd suggest that StQ is a self-esteem building game; once you've had the guts to grab the ball, ran, and survived your pounding you were a much better, more confident person (if you weren't in the nurse's office).
Personally, I think that not long from now, "that's so gay" will be the slogan of an anti-PC backlash.>>>>>>
ROFLMAOPIMP Oh yeah!!! Think I'll add it too my vernacular since it annoys them so much. I guess we can have fun with this idiocy after all if we try hard enough. The last thing anybody wants is to be laughed at
