My wife and I purchased three new pistols in the last 2 months and I plan on buying a fourth on Friday. The worst part about buying a hand gun is the minute you buy one you find one that would be better.

My wife just applied for her NJ FID and pistol purchasers paperwork. Once it's approved (a lengthy process in NJ that we have no intention of letting deter us) she's getting a Springfield XD9 for herself.
I've already made one rifle purchase this year (my Romanian AK47) and I'm planning at least 2 more in the next 12 months. A practice rifle (I'm thinking a left handed Savage in 308) and a hunting rifle for my trip to Alaska (I'm still on the fence between a 325WSM, and a 338 WinMag...also left handed.)
Although to be honest, I might buy one more gun just for fun. My wife bought me a copy of "Enemy at the Gates" so I'm thinking about buying a Moisin Nagant M91/30 in 7.62x54mm, just to play around with. (I'm going to wait around until I can find one that looks like it's a deal for the money.)
Then next year it's time to start upgrading my Shotguns. I shoot clays pretty regularly and I'm hitting 22 or 23 on average out of 25. I know if I go with a gun with better balance I'll start hitting them really well. Right now I shoot a Mossberg Silver Reserve O/U, but I'm going to upgrade to a pair of Brownings in 12 and 20 gauge.
I haven't decided on a model yet but it's over a year away.
