During the interview, he said, "Not one cent of MCDC money has been spent on alliance projects." The statement, released on the MCDC Web page, www.minutemanhq.com/hq/, does not mention Declaration Alliance or Mr. Keyes. ...."This is true, but there is no doubt the two groups are working in tandem.

And this matters exactly how?A financial scandal involving the Minutemen or Alan Keyes might be a shot below the waterline for some very pro-American conservatives and an opportunity for anti-American liberals to say "See we told you so..." and for George Bush to make another outrageous accusation about "vigilantes". Do you see?

That's a nice start at connecting the dots on the maze of organizations Simcox has gotten himself involved in.
Maybe next time they'll note how ineffective the Keyes organizations have been at everything other than fundraising - in other words, the high percentage of funds collected going to overhead rather than to the stated purpose of the organizations.
