Who said "When Muslims love their children then there will be peace"?I think it was "When Muslims love their children more than they hate the Jews, then there will be peace." Golda Meir?

I couldn't find where the article says they were Muslims. Most Indians are Hindu.
Here's the clue: The Nagpada Police yesterday arrested Mohammed Munna Khan (38) and his wife Shenaz...

The other clue is that the daughter's crime was falling in love with a young Hindu man.

Oh, I agree with you. Still, I cannot imagine the hate of the religion of peace. Sure,Christian fanatics go off sometimes but few and far between.

Thank you. I was going to say just that but feared the backlash. These folks don't like to have anyone point out when they are wrong.

I couldn't find where the article says they were Muslims. Most Indians are Hindu. I couldn't either. However:
* There are a large number of Muslims in India.
* Mohammad is hardly an Hindu name.
* Hindus don't typically chop off the head of a girl for dating a Hindu boy.
* The religious and ethnic background was not stated, which guarantees they were not white or Christian.

Are we able to confirm? Or are we guessing? Not that it makes a whit of difference. From one end of the spectrum to the other, the religions of that part of the world are all about the same.

I got to the sixth word in this article...
"Mohammed".
I didn't have to read any further to know what it was about.

These folks don't like to have anyone point out when they are wrong. If you happen to know they are not Muslims, then say so. Until then, why do you assume the unlikely?

You mean they are all wrong?
The one in the article is a Hindu?

As an Indian Hindu, it is easy to distinguish people of different religions for me. The names make it very clear that these people are Muslim.
In future, for a hint of which religion people belong to, especially in India any non Christian sounding name with "f" or "z" in it is generally Muslim. The originated from-sanskrit languages of India don't have these sounds/alphabets in them. Of course there are exceptions on both sides of this "rule".

I couldn't find where the article says they were Muslims. The killer's name is Mohammed. That's usually short for "other than Baptist".
Cheers!
