Well, as for Lt. Gov., the Reed/Cagle primary has gotten SO nasty, the Dembots' choice could be the next Lt. Gov.
The GOP primary for Lieutenant Governor is worth watching.
Thought I'd put this up.
Looks like Cynthia is being given a little run for her money. Of course she'll probably win, but I notice most of the other incubents are not this close.

Anyone but Reed. He'll even hurt Sonny's chances of being reelected if he were on the ticket. Lord knows Mark Taylor has no business anywhere near the executive branch. At least he has plenty of baggage from his years at the Gold Dome to be used against him. I hope Cox beats him.
Ralphie is extremely intelligent and hardworking. He made the 700 club, and it hasn't been the same since he left it for the GOP job. Ralph Reed is very ambitious, but mainly he's looking out for Ralph Reed and somehow seems to fool many Christian voters using the same strategies as the Democrats use on Blacks.
Using 5 million in gambling profits from one set of casinos to fund a fight against the establishment of gambling enterprises in other locations while claiming the moral high ground as the main reason...........is ethically indescribable on this forum.
This is not meant as a personal attack on Ralph. There were plenty during the campaign, and Ralph started them. I just wish he had chosen a way to chisel some funding to fight abortion (sexual ed with abstinence in schools, supporting homes for unwed mothers and adoption organizations, etc.) instead of the above mentioned debacle. Something like that could help Ralph AND the morals of the nation.

The lieutenant governor race is the big one here, and it's probably for the best that Ralph Reed has gone down to defeat. The Atlanta paper successfully portrayed him as an Elmer Gantry figure because he really IS an Elmer Gantry figure. Meanwhile, the Dems are nominating Jim Martin for LG. Martin is the senior member of a family that lives off liberal guilt and public funds. Jim is also one of the new "Christian" Dems (he's an elder in the notorious PCUSA) who drip with "compassion" while promoting causes like gay marriage and partial-birth abortion. Against Reed, he might even have won.
Cynthia's best precincts always report last. (Wonder why . . . )

Currently, Hank's ahead, with 28% of the votes in. Still much too close for me.
What a surprize, when WSB went to McKinney headquarters, Cindy Sheehan was there talking about how we need MORE Cynthia McKinneys in Congress.
I'm still trying to keep my dinner down after hearing her.
