On the O'Reilly Factor, Maj. Bob Bevelacqua compared the Israel to the Nazis for their so-called lack of comprimise. He said that Israel going out of Lebanon and Gaza was like "The Nazis going out of Moscow" and proceeded to say that Israel needed to be more willing to comprimise.
...yes...and that is why I see his point....but I also said in other posts here that I agree that Israel has the right to go in and get er done.....seeing his point does not mean I agree or condone it.....wish we could F**k up Syria or Iran instead
This guy is a nut case.
There's always a point when someone's true colors shine through.
They can't help it and they just let it out. Most people in a million years would never even associate what Israel is doing now with BARBAROSSA.
It's so absurd it's not even worth discussing.
For him to even have that and spit it out on cue to O'Reilly shows what he thinks deep down.
I don't think Bill even caught he full gist of it being in the heat of the moment but once he rewatches it I'd be surprised if Major Bob is back on.
"Fox News Channel is considered by many to be pro-Bush, pro-war, and pro-occupation. Yet one of the harsher critics in the media of the Bush administration's postwar actions has been retired Major Bob Bevelacqua, a Fox News military analyst.
" "Major Bob," as he is called on air, served thirteen years in the Army Special Forces, which included a nation-building stint in Haiti.
" He also put in three years at the Pentagon. Fox enlisted him as a commentator eight days after 9/11. When not deconstructing developments in Iraq for Fox viewers, he works with William Cowan, another former military officer who is a Fox analyst, in a company trying to provide security assistance to the U.S. occupation authority and private enterprises in Iraq."
" Bevelacqua, who supported going to war on the grounds that Saddam Hussein was a brutal tyrant and a threat to stability in the region but not a direct threat to the United States, is clearly unhappy with the whole contracting process under way in Iraq--which certainly colors his opinions, as does his time in the Special Forces. After hearing him challenge the administration's handling of the occupation on the air and in the corridors of the Fox News Washington bureau--I, too, am a Fox News contributor--I asked Bevelacqua to spell out his objections and talk about what he saw in Iraq during a recent month-long visit there."

.....as an Investment Broker....I can say as a Future's Trader....you've probably seem more action lately then most.....lol
Well, both of them are in competition for nut case of the year. Notice how O'Reilly likes putting scantily clad women in some of his features.
Maybe one of his clients is Saudi.
Major? I don't know who this creep is, but being a major is NO big deal, in fact, if i didn't fear the wrath of God coming down from some retired Major, I'd say he sure didn't rise very far. O4? Come on. Not so much a poser as a loser.
His point included that Israel is generally the bad guy not just in this war but in their entire existence in the Mideast. That Israel is hated for what they do and that what they do has always been wrong.
That they have not conceded land recently for a chance of peace but only gave back what they stole through invasions having no justification.
It was virulent Arab propaganda from beginning to end.
the Major has jumped the shark - time for him to go live in Syria or Iran
Never mind, it's this guy that I was thinking of....
Jonathan K. Idema, 47, was arrested in Afghanistan for allegedly torturing prisoners after they were found dangling upside down in a private cell, the Independent reported Friday.
This guy has gone over to the dark side. He reminds me of Scott Ritter.
His comments do have a Scott Ritter odor to them. Wonder if he frequents Burger King in Beirut.
Tell all!
Bevelacqua always says ridiculous things. They advertise him as a military expert, but I don't see how. He's never had any noticeable insight that I've noticed.
......as I have mentioned a few times now...I see his point..(don't agree with it) on the destruction of Lebanon....I do not agree with his other points....I'm not saying anything that Bush, Blair or many others said....that is all.....I've agreed with him in the past and unlike many here....I don't all of a sudden start name calling and throwing around hateful B.S. just cause I disagree....if I find in the future that he is becoming more and more intolerable....then I'll turn him off and assume he has defected
Bevelacqua started the rant last night I think on one of the Fox shows could have been Gibson. It stunned me as I always thought he wouldn't be so hot under th collar as he was yesterday. He was down right furious over Israel.
....as a Green Beret, he as has some great insight into tactics in the past....not so much on politics
