On the O'Reilly Factor, Maj. Bob Bevelacqua compared the Israel to the Nazis for their so-called lack of comprimise. He said that Israel going out of Lebanon and Gaza was like "The Nazis going out of Moscow" and proceeded to say that Israel needed to be more willing to comprimise.
I was watching and yelling at my TV. The guy acts like he has all the answers, but when pressed at the end, he hasn't a clue! It's easy to say that Israel 'is wrong" and that "they need to tone it down," but Israel has every right to go after hizbollah who have, as most wussy Arabs who wave their guns and rocket launchers around, entrenched themselves in the otherwise quiet neighborhoods among the citizens of Lebanon!
Listen, the U.N. threw Lebanon under the bus by not sending in a multinational force last year in order to disarm and remove the poop-stain that IS Hizbollah in Lebanon! Once again, the U.N. proves their irrelevance.
I don't know. I do know that from my humble roots as a simple minded Retired AF Cop, every time I have seen this clown on TV, he seems like the very opposite of what I knew SF Types to be. I have always had a bad feeling bout this yahoo.
Supposed to be a former major. If he was so sh&t hot, why didn't he go higher?
As a matter of fact, if he's so Sh%t hot, what's he doing bloviating on TV instead of doing what he is trained to do, either as an active, a contractor or an advisor?
Sorry-he has always been nothing more than a grandstanding little turd to me
And he even said something like the rest of the Arab world would understand [Israel bombing Damascus or Tehran].
Major Bob isn't playing with a full deck.
O'Reilly's been unwatchable for years, but Bevelacqua's "Jew troubles" are a new revelation.
I spit on both of them.
Thank You For Your Service!
See post 22 for my added thoughts
That Israel is acting like Nazis, or that Israel should try to be careful about killing innocent civilians? If the latter, that's exactly what they're doing -- Israel never targets innocents, and is extremely careful about limiting collateral damage. .....which is quite difficult to do when a cowardly enemy uses civilians as "human shields."
This jerk has also been against us being in Iraq and doesn't like Rummy.
"Lack of compromise" on issues directly affecting your survival is a virtue. Cleaning latrines, slaughtering animals and removing threats are unpleasant jobs, but they all need to be done and done well.
No thanks needed-did my job and moved on. All good things end. Had many good times and it set me up for my present job.
I look at it as the AF and I served each other
Yeah, I saw that thing on Sunday too. Baffling and disappointing. Those types always out themselves.
Whatever his service, if he compared ISRAEL to the NAZI'S? Note: I haven't seen the interview. Key word being IF-
He crossed a line.
Nothing in one's prior service makes that comparison remotely respectable and it does, at least for me, raise questions about this man.
What a battle cry that will make....RESTRAINT!!!!!!!
.....no I don't agree about the Nazi reference but his concern about doing too much damage to Lebanon in general....if you read my other posts....you'll see that I totally agree with Israel on this one....I just see his concern.....
Yeah, just because a bunch of blood thirsty killers are hiding among civilians while they fire rockets at your country and people is no reason to get excited.
Better not break anything or kill any of the folks who are letting them hide among them.
He always creeped me out because he closely resembles (in mannerism, voice and appearance) a weirdo neighbor we used to have. Guess that should have been a red flag.
.....well over the long haul I've tended to agree with this "jerk"...as you call him....just cause he has a different point of view does not illicit name calling on my part....I disagree with him on Iraq.....and ALOT of people don't like Rummy.......lol
