BEIRUT — Thousands of Americans whose vacations and business trips to Lebanon have degenerated with sickening speed into stints in a battle zone remained stranded here under Israeli bombardment Monday, their frustration and anger mounting because the U.S. government hasn't gotten them out faster.
Waiting around Beirut with bags packed and fingers crossed, U.S. citizens derided the embassy for busy phone lines, a lack of information and gnawing uncertainty over when and whether they will get out. Hundreds were expected to be shipped to Cyprus today, but how long the full evacuation will take remains uncertain.

I think just getting a ride out of Lebanon. But I don't know -- that's just a guess.
Yesterday I posted on one of the threads that since the State Department waived the extraction fee mandated by law and voted for by Nancy Pelosi (despite her saying that she thought it was a terrible law - LOL) that I thought a lot of people would take advantage of the loosened requirements and come here just to get out of Lebanon. And then go to their home country from the safety of the USA.
I think that what's upsetting is you seem to think that anyone who wishes rebelyell2 the best wishes

Yes , I do believe rebel said he was upset at the blockade , & felt he was being held hostage .
I think rebel was in a horrible situation , & didn't get much sleep . If i was in Lebanon I would have TONS of Complaints .
I just don't think that those statements he made should have Freepers wanted his death !
Rebel has been told by many Freepers that since he is on vacation he Deserves what he gets .

Whatever was said, and I am not reading the whole thread, did not deserve a banning as I have seen others say much the same thing on this thread on the parts I have read and they are still here.

She asked you several times about your post #904 where you threw out the accusation that "some freepers haven't got a single solitary Christian bone" to many one who has no Christian beliefs is going to burn in hell- that is where she got that connection. Why she felt you were directing that at her personally, I don't know. That doesn't make her a liar- the fact that she took it literally and personally for whatever reason does not make her a liar.
.#2: My first post on this thread was at #894 to Rebel_Yell2. Byker Babs responded to that post and said that freepers were appalled by Rebel's posts because (and it sounded like) some freepers are sending their sons and daughters to rescue him (#894). I asked her to point out which freepers had family involved in extraction efforts; she didn't respond.
Many people with ties to the military, including me- took exception to posts about the military being slow-second guessing their tactics, etc- bykrbayb may have been under the impression that many had loved ones directly involved, being mistaken does not make one a liar- if it does I guess in post #897 where you stated rebel_yell2 was involved with the IDF- tell me, does that mean you were mistaken or does it mean you are a liar? Which is it Peach?
At post #910, Byker Babs said I've chosen freepers to burn in hell. It's relatively easy to read between my first post at #894 and #910 to see that I never said anything even close to that. So then I called her a liar because it is a lie.

I have no knowledge of whether or not you are stalking her- again could she be mistaken- or is she a liar? If she thinks you are stalking her and you aren't- that doesn't make her a liar.

You must have missed Post #994 where someone outright told Byker Babs they were hitting the abuse button. And you must have missed where the mods told Biker Babs to stop and she argued with them.
I did not miss that at all, I never said you reported her, I explained to you already what I thought your involvement was in the banning.

You have yet to tell me who "you all" is. It is obvious you were lumping me in with other posters- so name names Peach- who is "you all?"

You used and are still using very strong language calling freepers liars and accusing them of not having a Christian bone in their body, yet you have not offered any proof of either. #2. Taking exception to a post and saying outright that freepers have family members involved in the extraction are two different thing. I asked her who was involved in the extraction (so I could thank those freepers). You can spin that any way you wish too, but she clearly didn't respond to my question.
Re the stalking charge -- LOLOL regarding your response. I'm either stalking someone or I'm not. I don't remember even speaking with this freeper since maybe last year. Maybe once this year. Maybe. And since I didn't address her first, it makes the stalking charge a lie as well.
I had zero involvement in her banning, as you well know. And if you think your explanation carries any water, that I tried to anger her, you're dead wrong. If you think a poster can lie about something and expect not to be challenged, maybe you're on the wrong forum.
#3: Already answered in my previous post. That you don't get it is your problem. As to other freepers lying about Rebel, that's been answered as well in posts on this thread. Freepers said he complained about having to pay for extraction -- I pointed out post after post where he said he didn't mind paying. There are other examples, but since you don't read them or comprehend them, there's no point. You just keep saying that I haven't explained how other freepers have lied about Rebel when anyone reading this thread can see that's just not true.

yellowdoghunter - I did send someone an inappropriate freepmail once and I profusely apologized for it to the freeper on the open forum. And, not that facts seem to be your forte, I was suspended for that freepmail, so there goes your little "preferred freeper" theory right out the window.
And what was said by the suspended freeper was so aggregious that the mods asked her to stop and she argued with them. And, btw, she was told on the open forum upthread that someone was pressing abuse on her. So there goes that little theory.

Just had to make one quick comment. I heard only about ten people out of 900 speak English on the ship (okay I didn't talk to ALL 900). Many didn't have U.S. passports (They had to get in a line to register, a LONG line). These were not Americans who live in the U.S. and many were not citizens. Arabic was the language of choice; even shipboard announcements were done in Arabic and English.
I'm glad rebelyell took the time to let us know what was happening to him ;)

I am not convinced this is real, I am having 2nd thoughts about this being true, mostly because he does seem more interested in blaming and ranting than in solutions. Not once has he said maybe he should have made other choices- or acted as though he felt like he was at all responsible for his own well being
