Israeli girls write messages on a shell at a heavy artillery position near Kiryat Shmona, in northern Israel, next to the Lebanese border, Monday, July 17, 2006
We have the two above translations above- do they square at all with what you gleaned?
Thanks:)
If you open the page then you don't highlight, you right click and at the bottom of the list there is translate page into English... all there is to it.
I can't remember his reply now, I think I was distracted by the steam coming out of my ears. Hopefully someone else caught the response.
From the machine translations, it seems Nasrallah is saying that they have the capability to generate casualties "equivalent" to that of a nuclear weapon by targeting the petrochemical facilities in Haifa (major toxic chemical release).
Machine translations are hard to read.
Nasrallah is not known for excessive bluster. He tends to deliver on his threats. This may be one of the "surprises" he referenced earlier.

Fair grounds in Cyprus have been secured to house 500 cots for evacuees - Fox News
and 250 hotel rooms
Nasrallah says, that his weapon is not a traditional kind, but a very developed weapon.
I believe he is ethnically Jewish...but I hate to call anyone who talks like that, Jewish. What a betrayal.
You are right about the appeasement monkeys. It reminds me of a friend of mine who is a very leftist poltical person. He hangs around the radical lesbian movement, because he feels guilty for being born a white American male.
Wisful mental image when I come across people like him who do and act this way: that they, so dense about the reality of the world, be stuck in some dark corner someday and be given endless accounts of the Warsaw Ghetto and Auschwitz and Treblinka to come to terms with, followed by accounts of all the atrocities done to people in Israel and after each page, may they have to write a thousand times: This is what my enemies want to do to me and my family. Maybe then they would get the message.
But for some, I doubt it would work.
You guys might want to look at Wretchard's post from yesterday (and his referenced link to Adventures Of Chester).
Basic theme is that to take out Hezbollah, you need to take out Syria, which means you need to take out Iran, which will causes big problems in Iraq, etc etc etc.

The Dark Crossroads

Taking on the Hezbollah may imply the necessity of restarting the Lebanese Civil War to create an end state where Hezbollah or groups like it are permanently driven from the scene. The same will go for Syria but on a far larger scale.
This of course is a recipe for a wider war, one which will leave not a single Arab regime, and possibly not a single country on earth unshaken. It's a dizzying prospect.
CNN - Syria vows harsh and direct response if Israel attacked...Do you think they mean Iran?
CNN - Syria will not stop supporting Hezbollah
or instead of attacked it was attacks.. as in attacks Syria.
CNN ....if Israel attacks...not if Israel is attacked
I hope that Israel has strong anti-missile defenses around their very Petrochemical complexes in Haifa because these terrorists SOB will keep firing their missiles at these Petrochemical complexes hoping that they can hit something big and cause a lot of death and destruction.
Thank you.
Thank you!
MSNBC - 2,000 more Americans to be evacuated tomorrow. That's 1,000 more than Fox reported earlier
