Bush appeared comfortable until he noticed the ghost of LBJ had appeared behind him.

think this is a cross between that Iron Chef dude and The Flying Nun---but, hey, he's a great guy so I say, wear your hair anyway you want, man!

Yeah. Imagine what the world would be like if every country was run by someone with the personality of a Koizumi or Dubya. Peace and commerce across the globe.

That was the dumbest explanations I have ever heard. Why is the President holding hands with that women? It seems like he is a very touchy feeling person. I never hold another women's hand. Is this ok with everyone else? Maybe I am just old fashioned about this.

Have you ever seen the Futurama episode where they parodied the Iron Chef?

Golly, I can't wait to see what the moonbats have to say about that pic of Bush and Merkel hand in hand.

crap. I already said that I thought it was a strange. Oh well if you call us conservatives on here moonbats so be it. I have been called worse. I don't think that it is moonbat behavior not to hold another women's hand when you are married. Sorry just my CONSERVATIVE thinking.

Wasn't referring to your idea of why it was not right for W to be holding Merkel's hand. I think the moonbats will object b/c they would find it completely patronizing and patriarchial that a man in power acted this way to a woman in power. They would be reviled to think that any man would even deign to think of holding Hillary's hand. IOW, their objections would all flow from hyper-feminism, while, at least as I understand it, your objection flows from social propriety.

So my comment had nothing to do with your conservative objection, which I totally understand.

That is an interesting take. I bet your right that the libs are going to say something like he thinks he is superior to her. What a crock those libs are. Can't wait to get rid of few more this November.

Like "tray" with an "f" on the end. Just FYI, it refers specifically to food that is not kosher, either by origin or preparation.

Looked up Merkel and found a couple of interesting things: She was a pator's kid in East Germany, and she keeps a portrait of Catherine the Great on her office wall.
