I was asking a question because I didn't know. So, what you're saying is that there is also a large number of Filipino citizens in Israel, who may also need evacuating?

It made my teeth ache, but yes, I read that whole damned thing. The poster imagines himself to be some kind or "expert", but, as his posts prove, his expertise is in egomania and stupidity.

Thank you :-)

Not directed only to you (aka I'm being lazy and not starting a new post and adding onto this one! LOL) ...

What's with even ::typically showing 'real' stuff for the first half hour:: CNNi not giving much in the way of coverage to events? It seems like they sort of glossed stuff over tonight and then moved on to other things........this Airbus thing is getting nearly as much time as everything else!

Wonder if we'll get better coverage once it's a weekday late night here in the States?

You should consider my own "thing" yourself. Think about it, it is real and you can discover it if you try hard enough. Don't put it back on me man, go consider the "thing" of which I know.

Once you are enlightened with my "thing" that is also unclassified, you will certainly see that I am correct and stop poting altogether.

You're welcome.

his rambling, disjoint drivel

That's exactly what it was and you nailed him. You're absolutely right, he is waaaaaay out of his depth here.

I was gonna comment on the tiger remark but I couldn't clean it up good enough to post it...didn't want to get banned.

Look....Israel versus Hezbollah in isolation, over in less than one week, agreed?

The only reason Hezbollah isn't already dead is because we, collectively, are afraid to confront their benefactor, Iran.

Remove Iran from the board, and Hezbollah is easy prey.

Iran is the root issue.

Hezbollah is a sideshow.

Address the root issues.

Now go back, read the rest of the post that has your panties unnecessarily in a wad, understand my position, and then, if you still have questions, ask, and we'll see if we can come to an agreement.

I'm not going to repeat something you refused to read in the first place, and I'm chuckling at you getting upset over what you think I said, when you have no clue what I actually said.

Read the whole post or get lost.

You are wasting my time.

I have no idea how many Filipinos are in Israel. According to the Embassy site, there are 30,000 Filipinos working in Israel. It appears most are Catholics.

The sheer gall and hubris, of his posts, are shocking!

Who said that there could not have been proper planning? And we´re talking of a stripe with a distance of only up to 65 miles from Israel´s northern border. It could have been an option.

The decision to invade another country with a massive ground assault is not one that is or should be made lightly. You have to remember that three soldiers were kidnapped by terrorists in a short period - two by Hezbollah in the North (Hezbollah also shot some missiles into Israel as a diversion while it kidnapped the two soldiers), and one by Hamas earlier in Gaza. The Hezbollah kidnapping was the first of its kind on Israel's northern border, and a tank was blown up by Hezbollah as it was chasing after the bad guys in Lebanon to get back the kidnapped soldiers. 5 Israeli soldiers died. The bad guys got away. I also wouldn't be surprised if the bulk of the IDF forces were in and around Gaza when the kidnapping occurred.

At that point, the IDF decided to back the ground troops off and start the air campaign, which should soften targets in South Lebanon and isolate Hezbollah cells, should a ground campaign be deemed necessary. Reservists are being called up, in part to bulk up the ground forces.

Israel doesn't live in a very friendly neighborhood. It can't afford to commit all of its ground troops into Lebanon only to be attacked by Syria via the Golan Heights, Hamas in Gaza or the West Bank, or another Arab neighbor in a sneak raid. Israel can't afford to hastily send troops deep into Lebanon, only to have its logistic train attacked from the rear by Syria or Hezbollah.

Yes, you caught me.

I support Hezbollah and wish to express that support by warning, and then attacking Iran with a massive nuclear strike.

I cannot hide the truth from your penetrating analysis any longer.

I surrender.

I know. It was quite the surprise to me when I realized the number of them working in the oil/gas rich countries of Africa. Just another jump over into the ME. Nearly all of their employers pay their fare and pay them dirt cheap. Why not Indians or Pakis? I don't have an answer there.

when you have no clue what I actually said.

I don't think anybody has a clue as to what you actually said. Not even you. Stop with the cryptic BS and say what you have to say. Nobdy will grant you cred because you have a "thing" you know, but cannot say.

Is that a coincidence (can't get the link to work, sorry) that the numbers in Lebanon and Israel are the same - 30,000 - or did you mean Lebanon? Thanks.

Who knows? Coverage has been extremely disappointing, and FOX has just plain sucked, period, for a couple weeks or so now (arguably longer). Not only have they been lacking in good coverage, but I've seen so many mistakes during their programming, like misspellings, numerous technical mistakes, hosts not controlling their guests, overtalking during live reports, and WAY too much fluff. I think O'Reilly, Greta, and even Hannity & Colmes to a lesser extent are worthless.

FOX has forced me to turn to CNN more times in the last couple weeks than the past 5 years combined. It's like they don't care or something. Makes me mad! When's FR gonna launch their own tv news channel? I'd buy stock in it!

(Why no CNNi tonight?)

I realize that - that's why I'm asking if The Philippines plans to break into the jails to get them out for evacuation. I couldn't imagine the Lebanese - good, bad or indifferent - letting them out to go home, unchallenged, if they are the ones who jailed them in the first place.
