China and the United States called North Korea back to stalled six-nation nuclear talks, with Washington saying Pyongyang had "no choice" in the wake of UN condemnation of its missile tests.

Why are we bothering to call Kim Jong Il back? The delivery of the "you-have-no-choice" message should not be made by phone. That's like threatening a kid for the twelvth straight time with a "time-out" that he knows he'll never receive = 100% ineffective.
