Iran warned its arch-enemy Israel of "unimaginable losses" if it attacks Syria and vowed that it was standing by the Syrian people.

Iran has already promised to wipe Israel off the map. They have promised to nuke Israel, several times, the threat has been made not only by Ahmadinejad but also by others, which means that it makes no difference if Israel goes into Syria. Iran is coming for them.

Israel has to decide if they are better off, when Iran comes for them, for the Assad regime to still be in place, or if their chances for survival would be improved if Assad were removed.

Interesting how Iran can talk of "unimaginable losses" but Israel and the USA can't even breathe such a word. The irony is, who really can inflict such losses on the other?

I sense that Arab states like Egypt, Jordan, Saudi, etc. are not too happy with Iran here. They don't want Hizbollah to dominate Lebanese politics with their private army.

Israel should keep up the pressure on Hizbollah and avoid as much as possible all not Hizbollah assets.
