"Exercising restraint", if I hear that one more time I'm gonna hurl.
Israel should only utilize restraint if they've captured a leader of hizbullah. Holding him down while they beat information out of him.

That statement by the G8 is a pretty strong one, considering Chirac and Putin. "Israel's right to defend itself" is pretty much giving the ok to what they are currently doing. No call for Israel to withdraw.
In my opinion, the G8 were shown intelligence photos and had to get on board with the US.
