Timing- when there is a hard break they can't change it...
She's doing a good job I think. Programming problems like that are the fault of the producer- not the news-readers.
She ought to be a little better on the ad-lib. I'm an old broadcaster. There's never a reason to ask another question and cut it off except in an emergency. You ad lib into a break. If up against time, don't ask a fresh question. End the interview and summarize.
